Information about handling your data

Your registration data as well as data you transmit during your future use of the services for which you register are stored by a service provider mandated by Swissgrid on the provider’s platform in the EU. This service provider is only allowed to use this data for the purpose of servicing Swissgrid in accordance with Swissgrid’s specifications. For customer support, certain user data may also be sent in countries whose legislation does not guarantee adequate data protection and/or whose authorities may be able to access data on the grounds of national security or public order. Swissgrid has agreed with the service provider the contractual guarantees provided for in the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection to ensure data protection. The service provider is contractually obligated to inform Swissgrid about any enquiries from authorities for the disclosure of personal data it has received from Swissgrid unless it is legally prohibited from doing so.
